Our Story

The Cenacle Coffee and Bistro is a full-scale Christian establishment that was founded in 2015 as a coffee house with one goal in mind: To serve hope to our immediate community and the surrounding areas. The term “Cenacle”, also known as the Upper Room, is derived from the Latin word “coenaculum,” which means “dining room” or “supper room.” It is actually the location where Jesus and the 12 Disciples (whose historical account can be found in the New Testament of The Holy Bible) had the last Supper before Jesus was crucified and gave His life for us to have a chance of eternal life. The term Cenacle was actually given to one of our owners in a dream as they were praying on the direction that God wanted them to take. It was no coincidence that the purpose of the Cenacle was intended to be a community meeting place where people could come build community, grow relationships, and meet over tasty sips and savories. Over the course of several years, The Cenacle has become just that, a positive place of meeting for many where the environment is full of love, joy, and hope. The atmosphere is like no other. Due to the hope and love that has been given not only by our owners but by our staff as well, when the pandemic hit in 2020, we were fortunate enough to be able to serve free meals to the community weekly to help out the community and to continue to serve hope in a different way! We also were able to expand our operations and launch an outdoor seating area which would allow for a safer dining experience with a beautiful view. Since then, in 2023 we have launched our Garden of Hope, which is meant to be a place similar to the Garden of Gethsemane, where people can go sit and reflect on life and hear the voice of God lead them in difficult times and be served hope and peace on a day to day basis.
